Labour-Management Studies Foundation

Conferences

The Labour-Management Studies Foundation (LMSF) was established by Macquarie University’s Council in 1983 to contribute to a higher level of understanding of industrial relations and human resource management issues.

This is accomplished through teaching and research and the dissemination of ideas through publications, lectures, seminars and conferences.

As a major means of achieving its role, the LMSF presents the annual Women, Management and Work Conference and provides access to the lectures through the Making the Link: Affirmative Action and Employment Relations series.

The Foundation also presents a series of smaller seminars throughout the year to host guest speakers in various fields of expertise that add to the dissemination, examination and discussion of topical issues in industrial relations and human resource management arenas.
